The Jensen family have a long association with Notting Hill Gate and Holland Park going back to the 1960s. Jensen and Ballantine is a family business which opened in November 2008, we travel all around the UK and continental Europe to bring together an eclectic mix of decorative antiques and any unusual pieces which catch our interest along the way.
We specialise in beautiful original pieces of antique furniture from Sweden, England and France; be it painted Gustavian chairs and dressers, to Vintage industrial artefacts and antique French bibliothèques amongst many other striking objects. We also have a local workshop for restoring, refurbishing and rewiring pieces that have fallen on hard times.
We regularly source for, and supply interior designers in and around England, New York and the south of France, as well as the residents of W11.
Jensen and Ballantine at 1 Ladbroke Road is situated moments from Notting Hill Gate Station and we have a forecourt where customers can park in front of the shop between 10am and 6pm, 7 days a week! Whether it is to collect or even just to browse our shop. We also offer mail order and can arrange delivery to our customers, both nationally and internationally.
We have created this on-line shop in order to reach a wider audience and to show what we do and what we can supply. We have an extensive knowledge of where to source items and if there is anything that you would like, which is not in our current stock list, please feel free to contact us.

Prices, Payments & Delivery
All our listings are priced in GBP pounds sterling.
When purchasing from the site we accept payment via Paypal and the following credit/debit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Delta, American Express, Switch, Solo and Direct Debit. You can also make payment via a bank transfer. In this instance, please place your order via email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll prepare an invoice for you.
Our prices do not include a delivery charge but we do deliver to mainland UK and can arrange courier services outside the UK. Please contact us via e-mail or telephone for quotes. Please note that overseas customers may incur import duties and taxes, which will be paid by the purchaser.
If the item arrives damaged then it must be photographed on delivery and e-mailed to us within 48 hours. You must hold on to all original wrapping for the process to be completed successfully but we will fully refund you.
We offer a full refund, excluding shipping, to any item you buy in store and wish to return within 48 hours of purchasing. For any item bought online that you wish to return. Additional postal, shipping or courier costs will be at the buyer's expense and must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
